Going Greek

Someone told me that the only thing you get from Greek Life is a social life. That couldn't be more wrong. I've made a list of things that I love about Greek Life that have nothing to do with parties, drinking, and all the other things that are associated with the Greek system.

Why I love my Sorority
- I love that my sisters will want me to text them when I get back to my room if I stay in the computer lab late
- I love that they are there to help me with anything
- They inspire me to keep my standards high.
Side note: When I told one of my sisters that I just wanted to pass. I was told that sort of thinking wouldn't cut it. I should want to do the best. Now instead of just trying to pass I am shooting for the Dean's list.
- I love having people to study with
- I love that it really holds you accountable for your actions

I love the social part of my sorority too. I'm not going lie and say its all books and studying but some people completely ignore how big apart that plays. My favorite part of my sorority is the sisterhood. I love hanging out with my sisters.  There is always someone to eat with at lunch and there is always someone there to talk to. I love playing uno at the house and watching How I met your mother. Its my favorite part of my college life. I really recommend going Greek.

Then again there are school where the Greek system is just like it is in the movies but Ii really feel like that isn't a reason not to rush. I mean you never know, one of those house might be the right place for a harry potter geek and the women in that house might turn out to be really great friends and even better sisters.

HARRY POTTER WORLD!!!!

I had the greatest time in Florida. I went to Harry Potter world for my best friends 19th birthday. Seeing the castle and the snow covered buildings was just the best! On the first day Steph and I practically ran to The Wizarding world of Harry Potter. We sang "fly like its quidditch" in the line for Olivanders. Because it was her birthday Stephs wand chose her. I was in a Harry Potter commercial typed thing. I drank boat loads of butterbeer and spent a ridiculous amount of money. Good times.

Today is awesome because I got home safe and ate an apple danish.
Today is notsome because I miss my sisters.

On the to do list for tomorrow.

-pack for school
-fix headband
-ask daddy to drive me to school

Mockingjay!!!!

You know I finished Mocking jay like a week ago and I have yet to write anything about it. I listened to the audio book because I'm lowrent and couldn't wait til the next day to go and buy it. I loved it beginning to end but I did have a few hangups.

Issue #1 I was so tried of them filming commercials. The days they spent in District 13 where so long and a bit dull.
Issue #2 um... no I think that was the only one.
Good/Bad/Ugly

Good

Peeta and Katniss when they got to the capital.
Everything about Finnick and Annie.

Bad
The damn capital and its damn president.
President Coin
The commercials
Peeta being tortured

Ugly

The bombing of the capital around the end. It really was just too much and I cried. I couldn't get past the fact that they bombed children or the fact that Gale had anything to do with it. I don't care if Gale only made the general design; I still feel like he is sort of responsible for Prims death.

I really love this series. I love it so much that it hurt when it was finished. I really hope the movies do them justice because the only have 3 chances to get them right unlike Harry Potter where the movies take years to get awesome. Anyways I know that it wasn't a proper review. The good/bad/ugly is just a way for me to idk organize my thoughts.

that's all for now. Happy New Years.
lots of love
